Job Title: Administrative Support Role at ZEDA Limited
Location: Avis Budget Rental & Leasing
Core Purpose of the Role
To provide administrative support to the branch, ensuring information and financial hygiene, efficient and effective systems operation, administrative sales support, and adherence to audit requirements.
Key Deliverables and Outputs
- Process branch petty cash as per procedure, load claims weekly, balance cash on hand, and monitor staff and supplier claims.
- Ensure daily receipting is completed and handed to the manager for sign-off.
- Submit creditors and general ledger recons by the deadline, ensuring they balance before submission.
- Complete and request all requisitions promptly.
- Maintain and update the second-hand goods register monthly and present to the manager for signature.
- Ensure the consolidated debtors report is submitted daily.
- Process all opened orders and follow up on queries.
- Keep the VTC function up-to-date, filed, and signed off.
- Capture all branch transfers on Evolve.
- Maintain the asset register.
- Answer and redirect calls, greet customers, and direct them appropriately.
- Keep records of all paperwork submitted to HQ.
- Report branch maintenance requests to the Facilities team.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Internal: Finance team, Car Sales team.
- External: Suppliers, customers, visitors.
Qualifications and Experience
Academic: Matric, valid driver's license. Advantageous: relevant tertiary qualification.
Experience: Maintaining high levels of honesty and integrity, with responsibilities involving company assets, cash handling, and confidential records. A formal background check is required.
