Qualifications
  • Tertiary Qualification(s): Matric
  • Advantageous: A tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or Administration Management.
  • Additional Computer Skills: Proficient in Excel / PowerPoint for data management and reporting.
Job-related Requirements
  • 2-5 years relevant administration experience, including customer service experience dealing with all levels within a transportation environment.
  • Understanding of synergies to optimize output between DSV and service providers.
  • Good understanding of retail, specifically inbound, outbound, and return processes and workflows, including transportation requirements within a supply chain.
  • Skills in organizing, directing, controlling, and monitoring.
  • Ability to meet and manage customer expectations and ensure compliance with policies, regulations, work instructions, and workloads.
  • Focus on documentation and control compliance.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships.
  • Conflict management skills at tactical and operational levels.
  • Effective communication with all management levels.
  • Punctuality and good time management.
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.

Main Purpose of the Role

This role involves managing, supporting, and coordinating all transporter information and deliverables to ensure customer service levels are met.

  • Transporter deliverables / SLA management
  • Reporting to stakeholders
  • Consolidating transporter information in a presentable manner
  • Building and maintaining strong client and transporter relationships
  • Auditing POD documents for invoicing
  • Identifying value-adding process improvements
  • Ensuring compliance and managing KPIs
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and consolidate transporter information.
  • Understand client requirements and develop trusting relationships with carriers.
  • Manage contractual SLAs & KPIs proactively.
  • Handle POD documentation and audits.
  • Maintain and update reports as per KPI and contractual obligations.
  • Perform daily system checks and manage queries within SLA.
  • Ensure timely feedback and reporting.
  • Communicate clearly within the department to manage compliance and expectations.
  • Review data for improvements and trends.
  • Support document creation and SOPs.
