Job Purpose
To provide administrative support to the Manager: Research Uptake, ensuring the effective and efficient rendering of a quality service by way of handling correspondence, accurate data capturing, database administration, organising and phone coverage in support of the research uptake portfolio. The incumbent will, at times, also contribute administrative support to the International Relations team as required. To work as a team member contributing to the department's wider activities, which require team support including but not limited to applications, registrations, graduations and Cape Peninsula University of Technology's Open Days, as well as other administrative duties as requested by the Director: Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships and the Manager: Research Uptake.
