Job description

Provides office services by monitoring administrative projects and providing overall general and financial administration duties to the department. Liaise with on-site personnel, owners, tenants, and contractors when required.

Responsibilities:

  • Biling of tenants
  • Reconciliation of Tenants' accounts
  • Invoicing of Student Centre Tenants
  • Import utilities meter readings electronic files
  • Compile reports on tenants' statuses to Management
  • Capture payments onto the MDA system
  • Track rental payments from bank statements monthly
  • Follow-up on outstanding rental payments
  • Compile Rental Arrears Reports
  • Address rental queries raised by tenants
  • Handle debtors' and creditors' queries
  • Perform ad hoc duties in compliance with lease agreements

Minimum requirements

  • National Diploma (NQF 6) in Finance
  • Three (3) to four (4) years' experience in billing tenants, including preparing and distributing accurate monthly invoices for rent and utilities
  • Experience in generating invoices for Student Centre Tenants, ensuring charges are correctly applied and compliant with lease agreements
  • Experience in capturing tenant payments into the MDA system with accurate record-keeping
  • Proven ability to compile reports on tenants' account statuses, including overdue payments and arrears
  • Experience in financial administration, including managing debtors and creditors
  • Experience using the MDA Financial System for 3-4 years
