Job title: Administrative Assistant

Job Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg

Key Performance Areas:

1. Manage data in spreadsheets and reports
2. Ensure leads are accurately allocated and distributed to maximise ROI and conversions
3. Allocations of agent funds daily and updating of reports
4. Keep records and reports up to date
5. Organise and schedule meetings with relevant stakeholders
6. Handle technical issues in area of expertise
7. Carry out clerical duties, including answering phones and preparing documents
8. Maintain knowledge of current laws affecting insurance policies and practices to ensure compliance with all regulations
9. Operational system administration
10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products, services, and procedures
11. Follow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained
12. Demonstrate consistent application of internal procedures
13. Plan and prioritise, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands
14. Demonstrate abilities to anticipate and manage change
15. Demonstrate flexibility in balancing achievement of own objectives with the ability to understand and respond to organizational needs

Requirements:

Minimum Academic, Professional Qualifications & Experience required for this position:

1. Grade 12
2. Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
3. Working knowledge of system software
4. Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in a Sales environment
5. Proven experience as an administrator or similar role
