Position: Admin Role / Marketing Administrator

Reports to: Company owner & wider team

Overview:

Our client is a firm of Chartered Surveyors specializing in the valuation of buildings, plant & equipment for insurance purposes. They work with a range of clients, both national and international. The company has a history spanning over 150 years and employs many long-term staff.

We are seeking a junior administrator with strong skills in Word, Excel, IT, and organization. This role is part of the marketing & sales team, focusing on:

  1. Communication / Email Support:
  • Monitoring and responding to client and broker enquiry emails
  • Electronic filing of emails (CRM)
  • Handling client/broker calls
  • Chasing updates for confirmed jobs
  1. CRM/Microsoft Dynamics:
  • Adding new accounts and contacts
  • Updating opportunities
  • Tracking emails related to opportunities
  • Generating quotes and orders
  1. Sales and Enquiries:
  • Responding to initial emails and inquiries
  • Preparing basic proposals
  • Assisting with job-related correspondence and handovers to valuers

Candidate Requirements:

  • Confident, approachable, with a can-do attitude
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook

Training and career growth opportunities will be provided as the candidate develops.

Main purpose of the job:

  • Support the marketing team administrator
  • Facilitate collaboration between marketing and valuation teams

Supporting functions include:

  • SharePoint: creating client records and adding projects
  • Communication: email monitoring and responses, electronic filing, client calls
  • Job handovers: contacting clients, arranging site visits, creating job folders
