Requirements :
- An undergraduate qualification at NQF 6 or 7 as recognised by SAQA in Supply Chain Management/Economics/Accounting/Logistics.
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience in Supply Chain Management.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Competencies: Knowledge of the Public Service Regulatory Framework, department strategy, SCM policy and procedures, Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations, Financial Delegations, Risk Management, Accounting Standards.
- Skills: Communication, Computer literacy, Analytical skills, Presentation, Report writing.
- Attributes: Team player, able to work independently, professional, confidentiality, able to work under pressure, quality-driven.
Duties :
- Supply tender documents, collect deposits, and issue receipts.
- Compile register of issued documents.
- Assist in managing a dedicated tender box.
- Collect documents for Tender Clarification Meetings.
- Record late tenders and return unopened tenders with reasons.
- Open tenders according to procurement specifications.
- Mark documentation per departmental procedures.
- Publish on-time tenderers on the departmental website within 10 workdays.
- Develop a tracking system for tender documents.
- Establish a filing system for records.
- Keep or submit records to relevant sub-directorates.
