Duties & Responsibilities
- Order goods and supplies to maintain maximum/minimum stock levels.
- Coordinate with senior management on orders outside the agreed financial parameters.
- Ensure ordered items are from approved suppliers; obtain permission for items from alternative sources.
- Verify that received goods match the quality, quantity, and price agreements.
- Complete all administration related to deliveries promptly and accurately.
- Handle documentation and take action in cases of non-delivery, substandard deliveries, or overpricing.
- Store items correctly, considering temperature, humidity, and shelf life; avoid storing food on the floor.
- Apply proper stock rotation, ensuring first-in, first-out issues.
- Make issues against requisitions; ensure items leave the storeroom with proper documentation or signatures.
- Maintain security of storeroom areas, preventing unauthorized access.
- Report and follow procedures for spoilage or damage of items.
- Take stock at prescribed intervals and complete necessary administration without delay.
- Attend meetings or training as required.
- Assist in debt collection when needed.
- Ensure timely submission of invoices for payment.
- Assist in proper management of the P&L.
- Perform any other duties outside the scope of responsibility as required.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Minimum matric qualification
- Knowledge of the industry is advantageous
