Job description

Purpose: To ensure and maintain an efficient service, including following the cash register S.O.Ps, Reception/Receiving duties, and maintaining relevant S.O.Ps, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and control stocktakes and cycle counts across departments according to schedule.
  2. Enforce company policies and procedures for operational compliance.
  3. Receive, dispatch, and record stock accurately as per invoices.
  4. Investigate stock discrepancies and collaborate with stock controllers to reconcile physical and system stock.
  5. Review and verify credit slips when variances arise.
  6. Manage internal stock deliveries, ensuring correct placement and documentation.
  7. Ensure items are scanned properly before dispatch to maintain inventory accuracy.
  8. Coordinate stock dispatch to departments efficiently.
  9. Assist as a Cashier in the Drive-Thru, providing excellent customer service.
  10. Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
  11. Participate in perpetual stock takes.
  12. Perform delegated tasks as assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

  • Matric or three completed Intercept courses totaling 120 credits.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role.
  • Completion of Brights Induction (service excellence).
  • Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Awareness and vigilance.
  • Ability to handle pressure.
  • Numerical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Willing to work flexible hours and holidays as needed.
