Job description

BLUPOOL is looking for a detail-oriented Admin Assistant (for Payroll and Data Entry) to join our team!

The ideal candidate will handle administrative tasks, assist with payroll processing, manage switchboard operations, and ensure smooth office operations.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in an administrative role preferred
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and SARS compliance is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and cloud-based systems
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll processing, including updating employee details, calculating salaries, and ensuring compliance with SARS regulations
  • Handling switchboard operations, answering, and transferring calls professionally
  • Managing filing systems both electronic and paper-based, ensuring all records are up to date
  • Recording and filing leave requests accurately
  • Responding to emails, letters, and admin-related inquiries
  • Downloading invoices and statements, organizing them in the cloud drive
  • Directing customer queries and leads to the appropriate department
  • Assisting various departments with administrative tasks as needed
  • Monitoring and analyzing vehicle logs and performance data
  • Providing reports on vehicle usage and assisting with vehicle-related queries
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive company records and employee data
