Brief Description: The school invites applicants for the following position.
Applications are invited from candidates interested in a full-time or part-time, permanent or fixed period position within the African Energy Leadership Centre (AELC).
The mandate of the AELC is to develop the next generation of leaders in the African energy space. The AELC provides short courses and postgraduate qualifications in leadership; thought leadership, and networking seminars on energy.
The successful candidate will drive the research agenda of the ABSA Chair in Future Energy located within the AELC, with a focus on energy modelling. The successful candidate will also develop and teach modules in policy, sustainability, and research methodology with a focus on energy modelling across the post-graduate programmes within AELC and the school.
The successful candidate is expected to work closely with fellow academics, postgraduate students, and senior executives to deliver highly rated learning, research, and opinion leadership on critical issues in the energy sector.
Applicants for the positions must have a doctorate in a related field.
