You will oversee the system environment, support model development, and coordinate data processes (SQL/DCS) to align with changes in actuarial models. IFRS17 knowledge is beneficial, with life insurance experience valued.

Qualifications

• A100–A200 exams completed (essential)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and control the system environment.
• Enhance control environment.
• Provide valuations system support to stakeholders.
• Develop and test new products in the Actuarial system.
• Provide professional input and support to the Group.
• Support model development and analysis for liability, capital valuation, embedded value and business planning.
• Modify data processes (DCS or SQL) to maintain system integrations with model changes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of both the products and systems from an actuarial perspective. You will also be responsible for maintaining optimal system accuracy and performance from a functionality and values perspective.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial sciences
• Good Knowledge of Legislation – LTIA
• Knowledgeable on the ASSA Code of Conduct
• Minimum 3 Years of Actuarial Experience in Systems
• Expert in Data and Model Management
• Life Insurance Experience
• IFRS17 Knowledge (Highly Beneficial)
• All A100 – A200 series technical Exams to be completed (Essential)
