Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Actuarial Analyst with at least 3 years in life insurance to drive product development and pricing. You will review pricing, conduct experience investigations and support policy administration changes.

Strong skills in Excel, Prophet and SQL/Python, plus 9 exam credits, are required. IFRS 17 knowledge is a plus and the role focuses on profitability drivers and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Actuarial student with a minimum of 9 exam credits.
• At least 3 years actuarial experience within life insurance, protection products or a related actuarial function.
• Experience in product development, pricing and/or experience investigations.
• Understanding of life insurance products and profitability drivers.
• IFRS 17 knowledge will be advantageous.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product development and pricing, including product specifications, pricing reviews and experience investigations.
• Conduct product rules and pricing testing, including regression, new business, servicing and claims testing.
• Provide production support for missing functionality across policy administration systems.
• Develop requirements for system changes.
• Contribute to strategic projects and business initiatives across the Protection Product team.
• Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Maintain actuarial models, assumptions, documentation and reporting processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and automation.
• Manage product and pricing mailbox queries.
