Placements24 is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join its Durban pricing team to develop and refine pricing models for insurance products. You will use your quantitative skills to analyze large datasets, identify pricing trends, and contribute to profitable business strategies in a collaborative, results‑driven environment.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, progress toward FIA/FASSA, and at least four years' actuarial

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Progress towards actuarial qualifications (e.g., FIA, FASSA) is essential.
• Minimum of 4 years of actuarial experience, with a specific focus on pricing or ratemaking in the insurance industry.
• Strong proficiency in actuarial software (e.g., R, Python, SAS, Emblem, ALPS) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation capabilities.
