Job summary

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in an actuarial, modelling or analytics environment.
• Strong Python, SQL and Excel skills.
• Experience building analytical models and deriving actionable insights from data.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Progress towards actuarial qualifications is highly desirable

We're building a high-impact Actuarial Modelling & Support team and are looking for a talented Data Scientist to help shape how we forecast, analyse and drive business performance across a global organisation.

What you’ll be doing

As a Data Scientist within our Actuarial Modelling & Support team, you'll work at the intersection of actuarial science, data science and commercial decision-making. You'll help develop and enhance our proprietary forecasting model, analyse large-scale customer and transactional datasets, and provide insights that influence strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and enhancing financial forecasting and modelling tools
• Building reporting dashboards and visualisations in Power BI
• Analysing customer and business performance data to identify trends and opportunities
• Running scenario modelling and forecasting exercises
• Collaborating with stakeholders across Finance, Commercial and Technology teams

What we’re looking for
