Job Purpose

Develop and maintain retail banking value proposition for Discovery Bank.

Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in retail banking
• Research to inform product development and other business decisions
• Assist in the development and pricing of banking products, benefits, features and rewards
• Learn to develop sophisticated models and algorithms required to support the value proposition
• Provide ad-hoc and regular analytical support to the other divisions

Education and Experience

• A degree in Actuarial Science but applicants with a background in statistics, Applied Mathematics or other quantitative field will be considered.
• Experience with SQL, Netezza, Powerpoint, Excel, SPSS/SAS is advantageous
• Two years experience working in retail banking analytical field is beneficial
