Job description

The role of Activities Coordinator at Dormy House, a 88-bedded Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Palliative Care Home in Sunningdale, Berkshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of engaging activities to improve the wellbeing and quality of life for the residents. The role offers a competitive hourly rate, flexible working hours, and a range of employee benefits.

Main duties of the job

As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating a variety of activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of the residents. This may include arts and crafts, music, games, outings, and other social events. You will work closely with the care team to ensure that each resident is given the opportunity to participate and engage in meaningful activities that promote their physical, cognitive, and emotional wellbeing. The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, and a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older adults.
