AECOM is seeking an Acoustic Scientist in a hybrid role based in the South Africa office. You will process noise data, assess environmental acoustics, and create computer models to optimise outcomes. You will prepare clear technical reports and participate in project meetings with clients and internal teams.

The role emphasizes remote collaboration in a hybrid work model, with activities spanning multiple sectors and a focus on delivering high-quality environmental acoustics consultancy.

Formación

• MSc/BSc in Acoustics or a closely associated science or engineering discipline.
• Membership/ Associate Membership in professional organisations (IOA, ANC, ASA).
• Relevant consultancy experience in environmental acoustics for a variety of project types.

Responsabilidades

• Data processing and analysis of noise and vibration measurement surveys.
• Calculation and assessment of environmental acoustics.
• Computer modelling predictions and optimisations.
• Preparation of technical reports.
• Attend and participate in project meetings.
