Qualifications

• HR policies, systems, procedures and relevant legislation
• Sound financial knowledge: reconciliations, debits/credits, adjustment journals
• Business-to-business processes
• Medical schemes policies, rules, tariff structures
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Legislation for debt collection environment (e.g. NCA, CPA)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop Accounts Department team members
• Ensure compliance with Best Practice to achieve goals
• Oversee billing submissions and receipting processes
• Safeguard patient records confidentiality
