Job description

Join our client's team as an Accounts Receivable Administrator in the Automotive sector, Benoni

Position Overview

The Accounts Receivable Administrator will report directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager and will be based in Benoni, Gauteng. This role is responsible for managing the accounts receivable function efficiently and contributing to the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full credit control function for the assigned portion of the debtors book.
  • Checking and invoicing of new deployments
  • Picking stock items in the stock management system for new deployments.
  • Processing recurring monthly billing and invoices.
  • Sending monthly statements to clients.
  • Handling ad-hoc invoicing for services such as de- and re-installations
  • Processing credit notes when necessary.
  • Preparing account reconciliations as needed.
  • Allocating accounts and matching payments to invoices.
  • Resolving client queries promptly and professionally.

Experience and Skills Required

  • At least 2 years of experience in a financial administration-related position.
  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role.
  • Good organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in MS Outlook and Excel.
  • Good knowledge and skills in MS Word and PowerPoint (advantageous).

Educational Requirements

  • A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or a related field would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will be expected to work proactively, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of accuracy in all financial and administrative tasks.

Salary : R 20 000,00 per month, pending experience
