Accounts Payables Clerk position available in Roodepoort.

An established business based in Roodepoort is seeking a hands-on Accounts Payables Clerk with solid experience in logistics and supply chain environments. This full-time role is ideal for someone who is confident managing supplier accounts in a fast-paced, internationally connected operation.

You’ll be responsible for end-to-end accounts payable processes — from invoice capture and supplier recons to payment allocations — while working closely with the logistics and operations teams. International exposure and knowledge of cross-border supply chain processes will be highly advantageous.

Salary: R20 000 – R25000 CTC per month.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in an accounts payable role, preferably within a logistics or supply chain environment
  • Experience with international suppliers or global logistics highly beneficial
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Xero, Notion, and Slack
  • Excellent reconciliation and payment allocation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving environment
  • Based in or able to commute to Allens Nek, Roodepoort

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Capture, process, and reconcile supplier invoices
  • Perform monthly reconciliations and resolve any account discrepancies
  • Allocate supplier payments accurately and timeously
  • Liaise with local and international suppliers to resolve queries
  • Work closely with logistics and operations teams on payment timing and supplier coordination
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure payment schedules are met
  • Assist with finance admin and reporting as required
