Job summary

EnableSA is seeking an experienced Creditors Clerk for a 6-month contract in Port Elizabeth. The role covers the full accounts payable cycle, from invoice receipt to payment processing, with monthly supplier account reconciliations.

Responsibilities include verification and entry of invoices, matching with POs, processing payments within terms, and maintaining accurate creditor records for audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 educational level required.
• Accounting, bookkeeping or related qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years creditors experience.
• Strong experience with accounts payable, billing, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full creditors / accounts payable function from invoice receipt to payment processing.
• Verify, capture and process supplier invoices accurately and timeously.
• Match invoices to supporting documentation, purchase orders and approvals.
• Prepare and reconcile supplier accounts and statements monthly.
• Load and/or submit payments for approval processes per policy.
• Ensure all payments are processed within agreed supplier terms.
• Maintain creditor records and supporting documentation for audit.
