Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Midrand seeks an Accounts Payable Manager to lead day-to-day AP across Trade and Non-Trade Creditors, ensuring accurate and timely supplier payments while maintaining strong financial controls.

Role includes leading the AP team, improving processes through systems and data, and ensuring service delivery. Essential: degree in accounting/finance and 5–8 years of AP experience with SAP AP.

Qualificações

• Degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance or related field
• Minimum of 5 - 8 years' experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, or Accounting
• Solid practical accounting expertise and advanced SAP Accounts Payable experience
• Experience in high-volume environments such as retail, FMCG, wholesale, or pharmaceuticals

Responsabilidades

• Lead the function and any additional assigned areas with clear priorities, standards and accountability
• Manage end-to-end accounts payable operations across all creditors
• Review performance information and address underperformance with feedback and HR processes
• Maintain effective oversight of delegated work and ensure timely payments
• Apply sound accounting judgement to supplier queries, writebacks and adjustments
• Maintain strong controls over supplier accounts, reconciliations and approvals
• Provide concise reporting for the full scope of the role to stakeholders
