Job Title: Accounts Payable Controller - Disbursements

Reporting Line: Accounts Payable Supervisor

Main Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of Daily, Weekly & Monthly Payments to Suppliers according to laid down procedures.
2. Daily capturing of suppliers' invoices.
3. Taking responsibility for supplier reconciliations and ensuring payment is made in accordance with supplier agreements.
4. Allocation of payments & invoices to correct Creditors.
5. Loading of payments on the bank.
6. Follow-up & Resolution of all AP account related queries.
7. Loading of beneficiaries in the Bank.
8. Liaising with other departments with regard to payments.
9. Monitoring Aged Payables and ensuring that any issues are resolved timeously.
10. Adhoc duties.

Essential Skills:

1. Computer Literacy (MS Excel, Word, Outlook).
2. Ability to work under pressure.
3. Good time management skills.
4. Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
5. Experience in working in a fast-paced environment.
6. Good Team Player.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Matric Certificate.
2. Relevant Accounting qualification.
3. Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
