Job Description: Accounts Payable Assistant (BPO)
Location: Cape Town, South Africa
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the accounts payable process to ensure timely and accurate payment of supplier invoices.
  • Promptly register and process invoices in accordance with the company's procedures.
  • Perform supplier statement reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT and other relevant financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
  • Support financial reporting activities by providing necessary information and insights.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office for data entry, tracking, and report generation.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.
  • Strong understanding of VAT regulations and accounting practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to manage spreadsheets and data.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years and up to 15 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or financial assistance.
  • Experience in a BPO setting is advantageous.
Salary & Benefits:
  • Salary: R10,000 - R12,500 per month, commensurate with experience.
