Position : Accounts Payable Analyst

Work Hours (Client) : Monday to Friday - 9am - 5pm EST Full-time, Permanent

Pay Range : $1200 - $1800 USD/month (varies based on skill set and experience level)

Location of Search : South Africa, Philippines

Duties and Responsibilities:

We're looking for a data-driven and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to transform financial data into actionable insights. This role goes beyond processing invoices - you'll help analyze AP performance, support strategic decision-making, and continuously improve financial operations.

  • Analyze AP trends and performance metrics (e.g. aging, DPO, cash flow impact, recurring issues) to surface insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the AP team to identify inefficiencies, recommend process improvements, and support automation or system enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility into key AP KPIs for finance and operational stakeholders.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close by providing clean, validated data and insights that inform accruals, cash flow projections, and vendor risk analysis.
  • Assist with forecasting vendor payments and understanding the timing impact on working capital.
  • Ensure data integrity across financial systems, flagging anomalies and inconsistencies for further review.
  • Partner with internal teams to align AP insights with broader financial goals and planning cycles.

Minimum Requirements:

Language requirement: Excellent English Communication Skills

Education: Bachelor's Degree (ideally)

Experience: 3+ years of related experience
  • Prior experience in Accounts Payable Data Analysis
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Data Analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, financial systems, and basic reporting tools
  • Ability to manage routine tasks while also thinking critically when needed
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
