Job Title:Accounts Assistant
Location: Montague Gardens
Salary: R13,455.66

The Company:

Established commercial ceiling & partitioning installation company

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform full creditors reconciliations, including accurate capturing and processing of expense invoices.
  • Prepare and manage payroll for fortnightly wages of both labour and subcontractors, including the posting of payroll journals.
  • Ensure timely completion and payment of EMP201 returns.
  • Prepare monthly management reports for cellphone usage.
  • Conduct general ledger reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Provide cashbook support when required.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, particularly with creditors reconciliations and payroll processing.
  • Strong understanding of EMP201 submission processes.
  • Proficiency in preparing management reports and conducting ledger reconciliations.
  • Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Min Grade 12
