Job description

Requirements:

  • A valid code 8 drivers’ licence.
  • Experience with stock control and stock management.
  • Accounts experience.
  • Background in manufacturing or retail industries, specifically in accounts and stock control.
  • Attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in implementing and controlling administration systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer and supplier interaction experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Pastel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

General admin and accounts:
  • Manage promotional activities and service providers.
  • Coordinate with service providers for costs and quotes.
  • Handle orders from distribution sites.
  • Coordinate packing and online/e-commerce orders.
  • Direct drivers for stock and material collection.
  • Manage vehicle maintenance and delivery schedules.
  • Oversee stock ordering and invoicing.
  • Prepare payments.
  • Control stock using management systems.
  • Perform other admin and accounting tasks as needed.
Sales & Distribution:
  • Process orders from distributors and retailers.
  • Conduct stock checks at Durban North DC and Mt Edgecombe.
  • Issue orders and coordinate collections.
  • Manage stock delivery and online orders.
  • Distribute marketing materials and samples.
  • Occasionally drive to collect or deliver stock.
