Job summary

Together Staffing group in Johannesburg is seeking an Accounting & Reporting Specialist to join our reputable client’s team. The role focuses on IFRS accounting and statutory reporting with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant (newly qualified) with strong Excel skills, analytical and communication abilities, and the capacity to liaise with Finance, Accounting, and Operations to deliver integrated reporting.

Qualifications

• CA (Newly qualified) with IFRS knowledge and statutory reporting experience.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to present complex financial information clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare IFRS and statutory financial reporting for the group.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting and Operations to ensure integrated reporting.
• Present financial information clearly to stakeholders and ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Chartered Accountant (CA), newly qualified.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS) and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience with Sage X3 advantageous.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines and work independently.
• Focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to liaise cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams to ensure accurate and integrated reporting.
