Job summary

Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking an Accounting Officer in Edenvale to manage financial reporting, cash allocations, and general accounting functions. The role requires 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in a Finance/Accounting department, with a strong focus on accuracy and meeting reporting deadlines.

Qualified candidates should have a Matric, an accounting qualification, and proficiency in SAGE ERP, advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Accounting Officer
Edenvale
R41 000 CTC - R47 000 CTC per month
Minimum requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12


• Relevant academic qualification in Accounting or a related field


• 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience in a Finance/Accounting department


• Thorough understanding and practical application of Accounting and Auditing


• Knowledge of SAGE ERP system


• Advanced Excel skills, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint


• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  Confidence communicating with colleagues at all levels of the organisation


• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills


• Self-motivated with a positive attitude


• Ability to work accurately and meet financial reporting deadlines
