Job description

The environment is a small accounting firm providing accounting, payroll, secretarial, and tax consulting services to clients.

The role requires supporting the directors and delivering daily accounting tasks, including engaging with clients.

The incumbent will handle the capture of accounting transactions and reporting to owners. Additionally, managing client secretarial, payroll, and other requirements is necessary.

The business serves multiple industries, so the candidate must be comfortable switching between different accounting requirements depending on the client.

The incumbent will not manage staff but must work closely with partners and colleagues, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Working knowledge of VAT, PAYE, Income Tax
  • Experience with Caseware and financial statement compilation is advantageous
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

This is an office-based position with no WFH options. The candidate must be based near Bedfordview, with a valid driver's license and own vehicle.

This is not a training position; the company does not offer SAICA or CIMA training programs.
