A leadership position responsible for overseeing accounting operations and ensuring financial accuracy. This role involves managing cash flow, leading a remote accounting team, overseeing financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory standards. The position also supports the finance team by providing critical financial insights for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and manage accurate cash flow forecasts and expenditures.
• Lead and develop a high-performing remote accounting team.
• Oversee financial statement preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Manage daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, and payroll.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes with leadership.
• Provide accounting insights and analytical support to management.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure timely reporting to stakeholders.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Manage the annual audit and maintain relationships with auditors.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Master’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• CPA certification preferred, but not required.
• Over six years of accounting experience, including leadership roles.
• Public accounting or audit experience, preferably with Big 4 or mid-level firms.
