Job description

We're looking for an Accounting Consultant at our Head Office in Cape Town (Parklands). Internally we refer to this role as a Financial Integration Systems Analyst.

As a Financial Integration Systems Analyst you'll need great accounting knowledge and previous experience in supporting customers with accounting software-related issues. You will be setting up chart of accounts and post opening balances. You will be performing integrations from point of sale to accounting packages using MS SQL, Excel and accounting software. You will even get to train customers on using and understanding the system and its full functionality. Essentially, you will be the go-to person for our customers when it comes to reconciliation, accounting software and other accounting-related problems.

This is an exciting position for someone to step into, as it is one of those multifaceted roles where each day looks different. You will be joining a small team, the position is remote for the most part. You should be able to go into the office however if and when required (this is minimal though).

If you enjoy problem-solving and can easily find your way around fixing software errors in SQL and accounting packages then we want to hear from you. We can also teach SQL, we just need a keen and quick study. This is a great way to cultivate a unique skillset, in both accounting and retail software.
