Job summary

MULTIFORM HUMAN DEVELOPMENT (Pty) Ltd is seeking an Accounting clerk/Junior Accountant to join our Finance Department. The role focuses on supporting daily accounting tasks, invoicing, and data analysis with a basic understanding of accounting principles.

The successful candidate will assist with financial reports, reconciliations, and supplier/customer invoicing, demonstrating strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Qualification in accounting or related field preferred.
• 2 years of accounting experience (internships or entry-level positions).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• English and Afrikaans communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Processing of invoices for all outgoing shipments / credit notes
• Allocating payments to customer accounts
• Resolving customer queries regarding invoices and statements
• Sending customer statements by the due date
• Processing customer orders for spares and printing corresponding pick slips for the warehouse staff
• Processing Purchase Orders and sending it to Suppliers
• Processing goods received vouchers when goods arrive
• Receiving, reviewing and processing all Employee Expense Reports
• Processing supplier invoices
• Adhering to revenue recognition rules
• Assisting with Annual Stock Take
