Accounting Assistant

My client in Sandton is looking for an Accounting Assistant that can assist with different areas of accounting and someone that is looking to grow within a company.

Some duties will include:

• Salesforce - Load and submit RFP's daily- Assist with loading payments in the absence of Payments Clerk- Capturing and reconciling of cashbooks- Capture creditors invoices and prepare monthly creditors reconciliations- Arrange for refunds to Insurance companies when necessary
• Generate debtors invoices on Acumatica (recovery charges for the Group)
• Generate security invoices monthly
• Capturing of recovery invoices from head office to all relevant companies
• Scanning and filing
• Ensure accuracy when capturing invoices on supplier and GL accounts
• Ensure 100% accuracy at all times
• Ensure correct VAT treatment
• Other adhoc duties when required

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification would be beneficial
• Good time management skills
• Basic Excel
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Someone who would like to grow in the company
