Minimum Requirements:

• B Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification (NQF level 7)
• 3-5 years experience in revenue and accounts receivable management
• Knowledge of tertiary fee planning and administration
• Knowledge of Accounting Standards and practices
• Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the National Debt Collection Act, NSFAS Act, National Credit Act, constitutional institutions, and public entities
• Knowledge of the Vat Act
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Knowledge of student liaison practices
• Institutional knowledge of the Higher Education environment
• Knowledge of financial policies and procedures
• Knowledge of student registration targets process and fee collection plans
• Understanding of the business environment and key role players
• Sound knowledge of applicable legislation like the Higher Education Act
• Awareness of current and future practices in the business area

Summary of Duties: Billing, credit and debt collection management, special funding, study assistance, bursaries, student debt control, stakeholder relations, reporting.
