Accountant - Statement Compilation

A UK accounting firm, based in Cape Town, is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Accountant to join their Accounts preparation team. Specialising in statement and financial statement compilation, the ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and finalising financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Statement Compilation: Prepare, review, and finalise financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
2. Statement Compilation & Reconciliation: Compile and reconcile financial data, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
3. Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and assist with statutory reporting.
4. Collaboration & Support: Work closely with internal teams, auditors, and clients to streamline financial reporting processes.

Requirements and Qualifications:

1. Qualified Professional Accountant (SA) or have finished SAIPA articles.
2. 2 - 4 years of total experience.
3. Vast experience in statement compilation is a requirement.

Salary:

1. R360 000 - R420 000 CTC / year
