S / Subs Cape Town Experience Accountant needed for an international insurance company in the area.
Office based - 8h00 to 17h00, Monday to Friday.
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of experience as an Accountant.
Experience with capturing monthly financial data in Xero, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports.
Essential IFRS experience due to client base and product offering.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries, and manage the general ledger.
Create invoices, credit memos, and process electronic payments.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Conduct and maintain monthly reconciliations.
Maintain organized financial documentation and records for easy access.
Participate in the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
Handle staff administration, including the preparation of payslips.
