ACCOUNTANT - R 650,000 pa - CLAREMONT, CPT
A leading property group based in Claremont has an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on Accountant to oversee the full finance function across multiple subsidiaries. RESPONSIBILITIES:- Monthly Management Accounts
- Monthly accounting journal entries
- Creditors Payments, Debtors Billing/Collections Review
- Monthly VAT Recons and VAT submissions
- Current and Deferred Tax calculations as well as submitting tax returns to SARS
- Drafting Financial Statements for subsidiaries and assisting with the year end audit for the Group and subsidiaries
- Financial Consolidations for certain companies within the Group
- Cash Flow Management and Forecasting
- Preparing/Reviewing the Annual Budgets
- You will be responsible for multiple subsidiaries within the Group.
Requirements- Finance Degree
- CIMA/SAIPA articles / 3 years in a full finance function role
- Advanced Excel Capability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitieS
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong teamwork, co-ordination, and planning, self-driven, and ability to work at pace in a dynamic organization
- Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
