Job summary

Shift Pursuit partners with an accounting firm to recruit an Accountant for their Paarl office in the Winelands region.

The role covers full bookkeeping, monthly statements, reconciliations, VAT submissions and general financial reporting. Applicants should have SAIPA/SAICA articles, a relevant accounting degree or diploma, and be fluent in English and Afrikaans.

Qualifications

• SAIPA/SAICA Articles completed or in progress.
• BCom Degree or Diploma in Accounting/Finance.
• Willingness to commute to Paarl daily.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
• Proficient with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full-function bookkeeping to trial balance.
• Prepare monthly financial statements.
• Perform reconciliations and ledger management.
• Ensure tax compliance and VAT submissions.
• Handle general financial administration and reporting.
