Job summary

The Perdeberg Group, situated in the Paarl Wine region, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team. The role requires strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a structured, systems-focused environment.

Responsibilities include management accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT and tax reconciliations, and monthly journals. ERP experience and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3-5 years accounting experience including management accounts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for the group using Palladium trial balances.
• Prepare monthly departmental sales and budget reporting and bank reporting packs.
• Own monthly balance sheet reconciliations and update fixed asset registers.
• Oversee VAT calculations, Excise Duty calculations, and SAWIS/Stats SA reporting where required.
• Manage member and non-member payments and process FX revaluations.
