Nativechild - Finance Position

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Retail accounts receivable, inventory, and supplier accounts payable
  • Manage cash flow: payments, allowances, and stock distribution levels
  • Help formalise and implement the budget process
  • Develop and track KPIs
  • Manage returns including CIPC, banks, workmen's compensation, UIF, SDL, etc.
  • Prepare SARS returns (PAYE, VAT, etc.)
  • Work on payroll with the HR Manager
  • Attend to SARS related queries
  • Capture and allocate invoices
  • Manage debtors and creditors, including collection of outstanding accounts
  • Obtain quotations from suppliers
  • Update and maintain customer lists
  • Follow month-end procedures and conduct follow-ups
  • Control petty cash
  • Verify creditor invoices weekly and provide remittance advice
  • Update supplier list with current prices
  • File transactions and capture journal entries on OmniEngage
  • Perform adhoc admin duties as required
  • Work overtime when necessary
  • Handle and resolve customer finance and creditor queries
