Accountant at team5pm

As an Accountant at team5pm, you are responsible for the daily financial administration and work closely with the Business Controller. You play a critical role in managing financial processes, ensuring that the accounting is accurate and up-to-date.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the purchase-to-pay (P2P) process: correctly recording invoices with the appropriate cost centers for the department and cost allocators for the projects.
• You ensure accurate processing of credit card and debit card payments.
• You can provide support for the monthly order-to-cash (O2C) process: invoicing, payment collection, and reconciling received payments.
• You assist in verifying the accuracy and completeness of financial data for monthly and annual closings.
• You contribute to the continuous optimization of financial processes (P2P and O2C).
• You ensure accurate and timely processing in financial administration.

Minimum Requirements

• You have completed a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
• You have at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• You have experience with financial software (such as Xero, Exact Online, AFAS, etc.).
• You have an excellent command of the English language.
• You have good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.) – a nice bonus.
• Experience with VAT, corporate tax, and other tax filings is a plus.
