Job description

INHERENT JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-Maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures and management of all internal processes;

-Compliance of insurance and financial policies,processes and procedures;

-Management of intercompany loan accounts;

-Manage debtors and creditors accounts and statement analysis;

-Preparing information for Exco and Board presentations;

-Prepare monthly management accounts – investigate variances to budget and KPI’s;

-Assist with annual and interim budgets and cash flow management;

-Handle group SARS related reconciliations and queries;

-Control of vessel finals;

-Preparing of financial information for external auditors;

-Comply with statutory regulations and ensure timeous payments of statutory returns.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

-B.Com, with a Financial Accounting major, 3 years post article;

-5 years of finance experience;

-IFRS;

-Good understanding of IT, SQL Databases and advance Excel skills.
