• Completed SAIPA articles
• Registered SAIPA professional

Key responsibilities :

• Financial reporting and analysis : Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; analyze financial data to highlight trends and anomalies
• Debtors and creditors posting and management
• Budgeting and forecasting : Collaborate with departmental heads to prepare budgets; continuously monitor actual expenses against budget and provide variance analysis
• Tax compliance : Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and adherence to tax regulations
• Internal controls : Maintain and strengthen internal controls, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Stakeholder management : Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, and other stakeholders to provide necessary financial data and reports
• Strategic input : Play an instrumental role in and strategy development
• Reconciliation : Oversee monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and other financial accounts
• Staff management : Supervise and mentor a team of junior accountants; conduct performance reviews and provide feedback

Remuneration :

R25 000 - R30 000 Cost to Company (Negotiable depending on qualifications, skills and experience)
