Accountant

Accountant position available in Pretoria.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and motivated Accountant to join a dynamic finance team.

The ideal candidate has completed their SAIPA articles and has at least 2 years post-article experience in a similar role.

Salary: R30 000 – R35 000 per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, debtors, creditors, and intercompany balances
• Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and other SARS returns
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Support year-end audit process, including preparation of audit files and responding to audit queries
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Assist in streamlining accounting processes and improving financial systems
• Provide financial analysis and support to management as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed SAIPA articles with a registered training office
• 2 years post-article experience in an accounting role
• BCom Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, or Pastel)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
