Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate trial balances and process journal entries and general ledger transactions, including reconciliations.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and manage the fixed asset register.
- Prepare and load payments for release.
- Assist with annual budget preparation and audit document preparation.
- Support the preparation of management accounts, including detailed analysis of actual results vs. budget / forecast.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Director with financial projects and other responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with Sage Accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Highly organized, efficient, and accurate with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable transport and ability to commute.
