Our Client is URGENTLY looking for an additional Incumbent to join their dynamic team, preferably starting by May.
Minimum Requirements :
- A Diploma or Degree in Accounting (essential).
- Experience in drafting Annual Financial Statements using Draftworx or Caseware.
- Strong E-filing experience in submitting tax returns for VAT, Income Tax, PAYE, and other tax types.
- Proficiency in using Xero, Pastel, or Sage Online accounting software.
- Solid bookkeeping experience, including managing day-to-day financial transactions.
- Attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities (includes, but are not limited to):
- Drafting Annual Financial Statements (AFS) in accordance with relevant accounting standards (compilations and reviews only).
- Filing various tax returns including VAT, IT14, and IRP6 returns, where necessary.
- Navigating and using the South African Revenue Service (SARS) E-filing system for submission of tax returns.
- Liaising with SARS regarding clients' profiles or tax queries, where necessary.
- Utilising accounting software such as Xero for financial management and reporting.
