Job summary

Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to oversee the full accounting function up to trial balance, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial operations.

Requirements include a BCom Accounting degree, 3–5 years in a service-industry accounting role, solid SA tax, VAT and SARS eFiling knowledge, and experience with management accounts and budgeting. Advantageous: SAIPA, bilingual, or loss adjusting/claims experience.

Qualifications

• Solid working knowledge of SA tax, VAT and SARS eFiling.

The Client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to oversee their full accounting function up to trial balance, ensuring strict accuracy and compliance across all financial operations.

• A finance or accounting degree (e.g. BCom Accounting / BCom Financial Management)
• 3–5 years' experience in a similar accounting role, gained in the service industry (candidates with manufacturing-only experience will not be considered)
• Solid working knowledge of South African tax, VAT and SARS eFiling
• Experience preparing management accounts and working with budgets
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
• Own reliable transport

Advantageous:

• SAIPA (Professional Accountant (SA) or similar professional designation
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Experience in loss adjusting or a claims environment
