POSITION PURPOSE AND EXPECTATION:

We have an opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join the Banking Finance team.

This is a dynamic role with exposure to an Australian Listed Retail company in a challenging fast-paced environment. This exciting opportunity is in our Global Banking finance team. Lovisa is a fast-paced, rapidly growing Australian headquartered Retail company with 600 stores in over 20 countries and growing!

This role will evolve with the company’s pace of change; opportunities will be plentiful for the right candidate.

The key KPIs of this role are as follows:
  1. Accountable for the Existing and New store bank stationery: a complete review of processes.
  2. Accountable for new store openings and minimization of subsequent AAR actions.
  3. Senior representative at the weekly AAR (After Action Review) meetings for new stores.
  4. Effective Team leadership for two direct reports.
  5. Review of all output for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
  6. Review and guidance across relevant month-end related tasks.
  7. Ownership of Zendesk.
  8. Ownership of shared Finance Support mailbox.
  9. Assistance with the guidance and review of all Daily reconciliations.
  10. Monthly P&L by country report built and reviewed (WD5).
  11. Reviewing Balance Sheet for all regions (Cash drawer etc).
  12. Ownership of Outstandings Consolidated report for accuracy and completeness (Thursday).
  13. Weekly transfer list to Financial Reporting (Friday).
  14. Assistance with month-end reviews (as required).
  15. Liaison with Auditors and local compliance will exist in many of our Global regions.
  16. Longer-term projects may include involvement in the integration project of all international bank accounts.
To be successful in this role you will have:
  1. Bachelor's degree with Accounting or Finance major.
  2. Excellent oral and written communication.
  3. A capacity and desire to be agile in a fast-paced environment.
  4. In-depth knowledge of how a Banking team operates including daily and weekly tasks, reconciliations, etc.
  5. An ability to partner across various Finance groups in the company.
  6. Demonstrate an ability to lead a team and/or project.
  7. Proven success in process improvement with a growth mindset in all you do.
  8. Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel.
